I am researching a number of names in the Lancashire and Cheshire area and noticed this morning that there is a way for us to include our families names below our name each time we post a message. Hopefully I have changed my format/address to include this and our friendly list members might respond to some of my names.

Hi Jean,
I have come across someone in the Toronto area who is researching the Youde name in England. Thats Youde with an E on the end. Would this be the same as you are researching? They married into a PARSONAGE line. Not sure but this might be in Cheshire.

Hi Mike, I have just been browsing through the Youde messages and found one relating to a Youde who married a parsonage, I'm not sure if you sent me a message regarding this couple, but if you did, I'm afraid I never received it.
You mentioned that it was a friend who was researching this family, do you have any more details?.
My Great Great grandfather was Samuel Youde, he married an Elizabeth Parsonage and they had three children, George Parsonage Youde, William and John, would love to know if your friend is researching the same family, best wishes, Jean

Gosh, I think Mike meant me, but I've only just seen this thanks to your post Jean! 
I have YOUD interests from Frodsham and Runcorn areas - and a Thomas PARSONAGE who married Hannah RUTTER in 1845 at Tarvin. Hannah RUTTER was the daughter of John RUTTER and Hannah YOUD, Hannah YOUD the daughter of Abraham YOUD and Eleanor GRICE (my 3xggrandparents).

Hello ladies.
the lady I was looking for lived in, Scarborough, Ontario and her name was
Cheryl Ann. I sent an e-mail to her old address but have not received a reply back............... sad to think she may have moved addresses, however, my mail has not bounced back to me.
Are the pair of you aware of a Jan Bower?? Jan I would say is the expert on our family name of PARSONAGE, she has records of umpteen Parsonage lines in Britain. Let me know if you are interested in contacting Jan.

My interest is in the Atkin family, my gg grandfather Amariah born Macclesfield 1835, served as police officer in Chester, 13 children, Anne, Fanny, Mary, Charles Anne(again),Sidney, Alice, Emily, Eliza, Florance, Ethel, John and Philip (my Grandfather)
Coincidentally my mother's maiden name was Morris.
Please let me know if there is any connection you can see.

Hi Mike, I really don't know. I was never able to confirm my
connection, although based on my evidence, it is a very strong
suspect. Here is what I have:
Thomas Youd m Hannah Parsonage Dec 31, 1853 in Great Boughton, Cheshire.
They had three children:
Lavinia (abt 1860)
Thomas Youde (abt. 1862)
Mary Emily Youde (abt. 1871) b. Cheshire (suspect my Great Grandmother)
This is what I have confirmed:
Emily Youde m. Thomas Wynne (marriage certificate confirms father as
Thomas Youde)
Emily's death certificate says father was Thomas Youde and mother's
maiden name was Parsonage.
I wonder if Jean can determine a connection?

I am sorry to report, I cannot make a connection. My ATKIN line originated in Lymm in the late 1700. John settled with his wife Mary Nee ASHTON and young family in Salford around 1837.
My Morris family were Irish. Their original name was FITZMORRIS. They married in Manchester in 1856 then changed the family name to MORRIS in 1856 on the birth of their first child in Salford.

Could your contact join Rootschat as there are a couple of us who may have a connection although I can't see it yet in my tree but do have YOUD and PARSONAGE connections. In my line Hannah YOUD married John RUTTER and their daughter Hannah married Thomas PARSONAGE - but I can't find a Thomas YOUD of the right age to make the connection.
