Good Morning peeps - so sorry that I went off. I did check my inbox and saw there were no more replies, so gave up for then.

This morning I see there were replies but for some reason after a certain time they were going into my junk box !!!!


Now I look at 1861 again it does look more likely :

1851 Crakehall
James 33
Dorothy 32 Helperby
Ann 7
James 5
Thomas 3
Ellen 1

I dismissed the 1861 because, altho there were some of the same names at the right ages, there were also different ones.

Now, I look again of course Ellen could be Eleanor, Mary and Harriett appear on 1871 and the others could have died between censuses, so I guess 1861 is ok - thanks for that and so so so so so sorry for poo pooing it at first (too much Xmas something or other that addled my brain.
