Oh, no, not another Hunts William Fairy! Between us Marlene and I have quite a few of them and Josephs a-plenty, too, and still no relationship established between our two families from the village of Gt. Catworth.
I can't connect this William and Joseph with my family. I do remember once finding a site with photos and stories about these farmers, but can I find it now...?
Marlene, where are you?

Kia Ora All Been out watering the garden on a beautiful South Pacific evening!
This William & Joseph I cannot connect but I do recall that Joseph had a wife Ann and their birthdays were very close to my Joseph & Ann from Riseley and then Yelden Beds
The Covington Faireys seemed very well heeled compared to my lot! There's "stuff" on National Archives. Wills etc.
I do remember that Sir Richard Fairey's obituary said that his family had been in Hunts for 400 years so I have no doubt that they are connected - the question is who is going to break the late 17oos barrier! Happy New Year all! Chers Marlene New Zealand

Kia Ora Wozzle THANK you! That's the one I was thinking of! I have a Joseph var. Farey?Fairy/Fairey who married Ann Rootham, both of Riseley. They went to live in Yelden about 1826!
My Joseph was baptised 1798 so I had to be careful that I was following the right couple!
If Emma decides that Joseph born Dean is hers I have that family tree - somewhere! Regards Dale
