Clutching at Straws!
Isaac Baker to Ann Walker in 1833. This is from Boyd's Marriage Index.
Any details will help, can't find Isaac in the 1841 census but he is a widower in the 1851.
Many thanks
Cheryl

Many thanks
I do not think it is the right one.
I have him in the 1851 Census living in Crow Street, Barningham, Suffolk. He has a housekeeper Sarah Ethrinton living with him and her daughter Ann.
Sarah is my Great Grandmother, but she is Baker in the 1861 although they never married. She died in 1866.
Once again thanks for your effort.
Like the dog - we have a Jake who is 6 next week - rescue dog.
Best wishes
Cheryl

Sorry for the late reply, had visitors.
I've tried all the other Isaac Bakers - Suffolk and Cambridgeshire are fairly close so I thought he had maybe married someone from there. His "wife" sarah is from Cambridgeshire, but again the only one I can find that ties in is Outwell.
The 1841 census has an Isaac Baker in London married to an Ann, both born out of county and as the rest of the Baker family had lived in London at various time I thought there mey be a connection.
I did buy a CD of Cambridgeshire parish records but it doesn't list the Wisbech records.
My grandmother ran away with my grandfather - that is another story, but in the 1901 Census she states she was born in Ely (I thought mnaybe one of her parent's came from that area)..
Sorry if this is boring but I do appreciate the time you have spent.
Thanks again
Cheryl

Hi Cheryl
had another look for Isaac on the 1841, and carnt see one in Cambridgeshire . Someone has a family tree on Ancestry, and has Sarah Etherington down as the only marriage for Isaac, but if he was down as widow in 1851, then they must be wrong. There are plenty of Baker's living in Barningham on the 1841, but no Isaac, unless he had a middle name and used that

Thanks again Ricky
Isaac was the youngest of 11 children with no middle name. Parents Humphry Baker and Ann Randall, so most of the Barningham lot are related.
The Ancestry tree is probably mine, there is no place for partners only wives.
As I live on Tyneside I do appreciate the time you spent helping me.
Very best wishes
Cheryl
