Looking for the parents and siblings of Emma Kezia Henton, b. 1821 in Leicester.
She married Robert Barker in 1846, and I have found the family in 1851/61/71/81/91, all around St Margarets. Both she and Robert died in 1896. I found Robert with his parents in 1841, but cannot find Emma.
In all census records she is listed as being born in Leicester and her age is consistent. In all records she is also listed as Emma K. so the Kezia name was important. Emma and Robert had William Robert (1850 - Robert's father was William), Hiram (1853-1858), Sophia Eleanor (1855) and Bertie(1859).
It was the Hiram that got me interested as an unusual name and there is a Hiram Henton in 1841, aged 17, apprentice tailor. This could be a brother. I have traced him through the censuses to see whether there were any parents listed with him at any time and cannot find anything, though haven't found him yet in 1851. There are other Hentons in St Margarets in 1841 but can't see an obvious link.
I cannot find a Hiram Henton or Emma Henton on the IGI for the early 1820's in Leicester.
With both Kezia and Hiram being Hebrew names I wondered if there was a Jewish connection, but both Emma and Hiram were married in St Margarets.

I can not see a marriage for Emma Henton at St. Margaret’s.1837.~ 97.
I have found Emma Kezia Henton married Robert Baker.
9th. October. 1846.
St. Martin’s Parish Church. Leicester.
Need to see Parish Registers for the details.
