The Hertfordshire forum at RootsChat currently consists of 5 boards; Lookup Offers, Lookup Requests, Completed Lookup Requests,  Resources and the Main Hertfordshire board. To get the best response to your posts, here are some posting guidelines.

If you have some original source material which you are willing to check for others, please post on the Lookup Offers board.  Please make the time to read the  “use of this board” post by Kazza, before you begin.   

Please do not offer to do any lookups where this would breach any copyright restrictions

If you would like a lookup of any kind, even one not currently offered on the Lookup Offers board, please post on the Lookup Requests board.  Once a lookup is completed, the post will be moved to the Completed Lookup Requests board.  If you know of a useful Herts link or resource, please feel free to post details on the Resources board.

All other posts should be posted on the main board.

ALL CENSUS REQUESTS SHOULD BE POSTED ON THE LOOKUP REQUESTS BOARD!
