hello all
Derrylass thanks for the data.
I did a search at registration office for Neal Toner birth record but none there, therefore I can only assume that he was born before civil registration and the age on 1901 census is incorrect.
Cornelius Mc Monagle snr. died 1901 and Susan Mc Monagle nee Toner ( sister late Rev. James Toner ) died 1902
Parents of Peter Toner Kirkstown who died 8th August 1899 were Peter Toner and Mary McGee
Mc Gettigan still link not sure where it fits

dear mab
I have copy of the family tree of Mickey Beag McGinley husband of Susan Toner. Susan Toner 1891 -1910. She was Peter Toner's sister. Data on the tree gives Peter Toner and Mary McGee as parents of Susan. It also gives Mary McGee's parents as Philip McGee and Mary Mc Carron/Carrol. I don't know where the person who compiled the tree got the information. I hope to meet with them soon so i'll ask them.

I was also sent one other obituary that someone may be interested in:
Fr. John McMonagle - Derry Journal dated 04 March 1949
"He died after a short illness, was a nephew of late Rev J. Toner, late C.C. Drumoghill. The youngest son of Mr. Cornelius and Mrs. McMonagle, Kirkstown. He studied at All Hallows, Dublin, completing his theological studies in Kilkenny and was ordained in the Cathedral there in June 1921. After a few months he went to New Zealand where he spent his entire missionary life. He was Parish Priest of Dalfield, Canterbury. He paid one visit home, some thirteen years ago, spending a year with his brother, the late Edward McMonagle, at Leckview, Letterkenny. He was 54 years of age. Other brothers of the deceased, Patrick and Joseph McMonagle are in Scotland. Peter and Corneilus are in America. His sister, Mary, is also in U.S.A. He was predeceased also by his sister, Annie, London and brother James who lived in Letterkenny."

dear mab
Slight correction to data i forwarded.
Peter Toner's wife was Nancy McGee not Mary. Mary McCarron was her mother's maiden name. Nancy's father Philip McGee was married 3 times. Mary Mc Carron was his 3rd wife.
I still have not met with the compiler of the above data yet, but will let you know.

Hi,
Civil Register of Births, Deaths and marriages held at St. Conal's Hospital, High Road, Ketterkenny, County Donegal held from about 1870. McGettigan lived all around Ballyshannon.
