Annie Featherstonehaugh
« on: Wednesday 02 January 08 00:15 UTC (UK) »

Trying to trace Annie Featherstonehaugh. She is listed on family.org as Featherstone_haugh. She was born 1871 in Carlisle, Cumberland. I can't seem to find anything else on her.

well. i've just looked on the site and can uncover no info. http://www.family.org/

Since presumably, you are not looking at an isolated individual,
What can you reveal; about parents/Siblings/ marriage(s)/ children?

she does not appear to have been transcribed onto freeebmd either...
What would be the source of your information as regards this individual?

Yes, The mother of Annie I'm researching was also Annie Featherstonhaugh. Annie had a sister, my great grandmother, Mary Maria Featherstonhaugh. It is interesting to know she died as an infant and that I need search no further. I wish I could find the father of both Annie and Mary.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated.

Interestingly there are no featherston(e)half's listed anywhere in the country on freebmd.
Mary maria b. Carlisle Q4 1873, m. Lanchester Q2 1900
Either cert "could" have a fathers name on it. If not I'd ask Geoff to see if there were any likely aged sons at the solicitors in 1871

Here's the info I have re Mary Maria Featherstonhaugh.

Mary was born October 1873 in Carlisle. Had one daughter before her marriage to Benjamin Robinson, 1900 in Lanchester.  Kathleen Featherstonhaugh, born 1898 in Hexham. Mary and Benjamin had one son, Edward Robinson, born 1901 in Lanchester.
Mary's mother was Annie Walton Featherstonhaugh. I have no father recorded for Mary. Her mother, Annie married Thomas Pallister, December 1886 in Guisborough, Yorks. Mary had 2 half sisters, and 12 step brothers and sisters all named Pallister from Lanchester.
