Happy New Year Rootschatters
I wonder if anyone knows of a site to look up Alberta marriages please? Or if anyone has access to them please? I think I am looking at marriages from the early 1900's onwards. Many thanks

UNfortunately no...Alberta is one of the few provinces that does not have a searchable index.
You have to send away for it from Alberta vital statistics... keep in mind if it's earlier than 20 years you will have problems, and if it's short of 75 year cut off you may need to prove your relationship to the individual...

Do you ahve a name and an approximate area?? There are some Alberta town history books that may prove helpful...plus there are some cemetery, and obituary indexes available.. ( not many I'm afraid).. Alberta is about as tough as Saskatchewan for records..
