Hi i am looking for any one with the Mccracken name in the Cumberland area,
the name's i have are Owen,Joseph,James Herny Frank Elizabeth and Mary the last three names i am unsure if they are my g g grandfathers children so any help would be nice

assuming all the names are closely related, I've always found that picking an "unusual" name and wide searching brings results that one can then narrow down.
So, Owen, in freebmd, cumberland gives a birth in 1892in cockermouth reg district, marriage in 1907 in cockermouth. Similar, Joseph born 1897 and married 1922.
If these are the rough dates for GGF then tighter searches for more familiar names might prove fruitful

Thanks for all the help,i have looked a bit more and think i may have got it wrong about the last few children being my gg grandfathers i think it was his father that died in 06 i  just need to dig around a bit more
