Kings Somborne PR CDs

Kings Somborne parish marriages, baptisms, and burials have been transcribed on 3 CDs available for purchase.  http://www.communigate.co.uk/hants/somsoc/page11.phtml.  They are only 6 pounds each.  I have emailed both the president and secretary of the organization to purchase the CDs without success.  They do not accept paypal or credit cards and I have not found any way to send pounds sterling from the US in small amounts.  If anyone knows how to get around this limitation, I would be most appreciative as I would really like to purchase the CDs.

Hi,

I saw your post and I am interested in obtaining the CD's for myself as my ancestors "Dalton" were all Kings Somborne based right back, as far as I have been able to trace to 1734.  I have a PayPal account. I'll email the secretary and see if they can post a set to he USA, while you cedit my account. Any good?

The Kings Somborne District Society can accept U.S.A. personal checks and they will send the CDs promptly.  I got mine and they contain much information about my Lawrence family.  Write to the secretary, Jo Finch, on their webpage and she will send the CDs to you.

I am glad you managed to obtain a set of CD's without my intervention.

I have already obtained a set for myself, and found a whole family of Daltons I had no knowledge of.  I'm still working through the CD's to correct and complete my records.
