Seeking descendantsof and information about Johnston BAXTER.
Johnston BAXTER b 1818 to 1823, in Cooneen.
Father - James BAXTER, mother unknown.
Johnston married 1) Elixabeth ? had daughters Eliza who married John (Mc)COLLUM from Tempo (numerous children to USA, son Robert COLLUM to Australia);
and Mary BAXTER who married Mr LITTLE (10 of their 11 children went to USA)

Johnston BAXTER married 2) Maria MONTGOMERY in 1865 has sons William James, George (died?), Thompson, John Edward (to USA)

Are there sny descendants in the area? Who was Johnston BAXTER's mother? and what was first wife's surname?

Thanks you so much for your information re Johnston Baxter - another piece for the puzzle! I see there is a Probate date (1894) would there be any helpful records there? Also where might I look for burial or MI?
I would still love to know who his first wife was??!!
