Youngs from West Barns/Dunbar

Anyone also researching Youngs in East Lothian?  Common surname throughout the UK and to add trouble - common given names of John, Robert, Thomas, James Margaret etc.  I have managed to collect quite a bit but going sideways and then down to more recent connections is nigh on impossible.

Not sure if they're connected, but I have Jane Shiel Young, born 19th December 1861 in Dunbar. She was the daughter of Robert Young and Sarah Davidson. Jane married Thomas Gillan in 1882 and died 1934, aged 73.
