Hi folks,
Am looking for the whereabouts of Rebecca RYDER in 1871 census.
I think she was born about 1843 St Ives Huntingdon.
Have her after she married 1874 but not before.
I always understood she was Rebeca RYDEN but seems marriage info states RYDER so not sure on that one. (maybe I just misread my ggfathers writing when I was younger who knows?!)
One of their children has middle name clearly ryder also.

They might have been in Haddenham back then goodluck! I'm sure you'll locate them.
Looking at freebmd there may be a son Hepzibah born 1839 that belongs to them too if that helps he died in 1849 by the looks?
Also would like to see Catherine Sharp in 1871 and earlier if possible (listed as aunt staying with Rebecca in the 1881
Catherine born about 1803 Haddenham (so guessing she might be a sister to Rebeccas mum Elizabeth?) She was a widow in 1881 census and states her husband was a cabinet maker if that helps.

I've just worked out I think that ELizabeth RYDER married William WIMPRESS
Found their deaths back in St Ives (they would be in middlesex in 1871) so would love to see them in 1861 1871 1891 and 1901 if possible. (I found 1881 online)
Looks like the kids are as follows
George Harry WIMPRESS born 1862 Ramsey Hunts
John Pauley WIMPRESS born 1866 (rest of kids Middlesex)
Frank Arthur WIMPRESS born 1870
Elizabeth WIMPRESS born 1872
Alice Kate WIMPRESS born 1874

So still no luck for JohN RYDER wife Elizabeth and daughter Catherine in 1841?
Strange they both John's and both daughter Catherine same age in 1841 eh! guess probably likely to be family name on mothers side.
