Hi there,

Looking for a Mary Noble or Mary Ann Gilby (possibilities in a marriage I have trying to work out which)

Mary should be born about 1828 St Ives

In 1851 she was married and living in Back STreet St Ives, Hunts.

I know it's not much to go on but is there any other way without ordering the certificate to find out who John Hill married in St. Ives in the quarter ending mar 1849?
All I know from further census entries is it's a Mary.

Suggestions welcome.

had a look on the 1841 for both mary gilb* and mary noble in st. ives born 1828+-2
the only one i could find
1841. HO107/448/book11/9/12.
robert noble age 47. occ. grocer.
susan noble age 47.
thos noble age 21.
robert noble age 19.
robinson noble age 15.
mary noble age 12.
eliza noble age 5.
living at george yard,st.ives,huntingdonshire.
all born in county.

had a look at this family in 1851 and mary is not with them so a very definate possibility.
