Osprey, that Sarah Novins/Norris with Rowland Steiger 1891 reply 59.  Certainly is a close one.... Hmmmm. I would go for itand says yes.

The one 1871 in Ivinghoe NOVINS again step daughter, is definately Norris, but born in Pitstone... don't think she's our's.....  Huh

                  Thanks for that info.
So it looks as if Jane married into the FINCH family.
From right, way back, when I was a kid....
Finches had a Grocery Shop in Powney Road. Oooo, the grey matter (me brainbox) is working overtime here. I really can't recall if they were family, but it obviously looks like it.
I can just about remember a lady taking the middle stalk out of an apple and polishing it on her 'pinny' while nanny was getting other stuff.

Hmmmm...... Jane would be step/half sister to my Grandad.... Crikes !!
This hunt gets better and better.
