Rev GL Grisson - parish record ?
« on: Sunday 06 January 08 01:38 UTC (UK) »

Dear Folks,

Trying to confirm a RC parish.

Does anyone have a entry on a certificate or parish record which mentions a Rev GL Grisson ?  around 1841

thanks, Michelle

Just a follow up on my previous post:

Grisson is spelt Gresson.

And it wasn't a RC parish, but a Church of Ireland parish  I made a incorrect assumption.

thanks, Michelle

Hi Michelle,if Aghadowey is right & it is Horseleap in Co Westmeath, check out on net- Ardnurcher church of Ireland church Co Westmeath & you will get a good picture of the church & other info-I know this church really well & there is a old graveyard too,by the way Ardnucher is another name for Horeleap which is a very small village on the main Dublin to Galway road the church it's self is just of the main road.Regards Nipy
