Does anyone know where Woodbridge, Applgarth is? I've looked on Oldmaps and the modern OS but can't spot anything similar

Sorry, also been on to oldmaps and the National Library for Scotland - looking at their old maps - no joy.

Have to go and zzzz. Hopefully a 'local' can help :O)

Using the search address field we did earlier for Greenfield and doing the same for Woodbridge in the 1881 census, brings up Woodbridge (east) and Woodbridge (west) on the census. On the same page are also addresses such as Sibbaldbieside and Cleughheads Cottages. Now Sibbaldieside is on the Old Maps site: Co-ordinates 313900/588000. Hopefully, someone can give you directions from there Grin

I did try searching for that address on ancestry. Must have done something different from you. I will look up Sibbaldieside later. I am busily plotting places my ancestors lived on a map so that when I finally get a holiday in Scotland I can go and look at them all.
