Hi Bob,
I have a free 3mth sub. to Ancestry as part of my Family Tree Maker software.
Originally I tried for the free trial as well, I agree with you do not want to provide c/c details for a "free" trial.
I contacted Ancestry.Australia and have arranged to extend my sub. by sending them a Money Order- a much better option I think.

That's definitely interesting to know. I know a few people who would like to know about that.
I did telephone them when I got mine and they agreed to do it on my debit as opposed to credit card, and I keep a separate one, for this kind of situation which only has a few pounds available,.
