Census information Crown Copyright, from www.natio

I am trying to find Census details of my ancestors - Meech family.
In the 1871 Census are Edward Meech 25yrs, married to Elizabeth Meech 23yrs, Reg. District Clifton, Westbury On Trym.
They eventually had four children:
Edward Charles Meech born 1880, Maud or Doris Maud Meech born 1882, Sylvia Clarice Meech born 1885 and Florence Kate Meech born 1889.
I have tried over and over to find them in further Census but for the life of me cannot find them. Even trying numerous various spellings with no luck.
Could anyone help?

a 10 year gap before children ?
are the names you have 'supported by Birth Certs identifying Edward and Elizabeth as parents ?
to save searching - where was the Edward b1880 registered ?
not to worry, Tazzers has it sorted

Boy that was fast! This is the first time I have posted a request. I'm flabbergasted ......... thank you so much.
I'm also relatively new to researching. Does that mean if I'd typed in Much instead of Meech I would have found them? That was one spelling I didn't think of.

Hi Rozz - yes, using 'MUCH' would have found them on Ancestry site, altho to be fair its not a real mistran in the years I saw .... best to leave the surname out altogether and just search on 'Edward' plus an age range and PoB ....
do you have him with parents - seems to spelled correctly in 1851 ...

I am working backwards. Have not had the chance to go back further than 1871 as yet. Do you have those details too?
All I know is that his father was Thomas Meech.........from marriage certificate. They were married in 1868 County of Bristol.
