Hi,
I found a delightful book just before Christmas.

A Thousand Names and Faces: People of Cefn Cribwr, Kenfig Hill and Pyle, by Neville Granville. (1996)

It's in A4 format and has an amazing array of photographs and pen pictures of people in this area for the last 6 decades. I have no interest in the area, but I just love old photographs, and the fact that it was signed by the author makes it a bargain at 50p Smiley

It is remarkably well indexed and so look ups would be relatively easy, feel free to ask.
