Hi Trystan South Australia ...Have also found it very slow all weekend besides a couple of big crashes when I was online it seems terribly slow to me...sometimes it can take a good few minutes for a post to actually go through...much worse at this time of day when there r a lot of people on line ...... It will probally be a lot better when U Brits all go Bedeebyes...lol....pretty well what it was like to me b4 the upgrade...Kris

I'm in Australia using broadband - last night my time (about 2pm GMT) I got a message - looking rather like the FreeBDM busy message) telling me the server was very very busy & to come back in a couple of hours. Posting and opening threads had been very slow.
15 minutes later all seemed OK but still slow. Now 11.30pm GMT (I think) all seems fine.

Well, if you're in the Antipodes as I am, things are just fine!! Perhaps you folk in the UK should try accessing RootsChat in the wee small hours when your fellow UK genealogists are sleeping!

Generally the access has been fine (in fact I wondered what the fuss was about!!) but just had several msgs in a row that rootchat is too busy to display at the moment. 
Am using dial-up and trying to access pms. Located in Gloucestershire.
Have found rootschat invaluable and have made e-friends as well as finding out info and having fun searching for ancestors less elusive than my own!!

I am in staffordshire on NTL fast broadband and I have found roots chat a bit slow and sluggish of late, but I am not complaining, I again received some excellant help this morning , off LeeW, Slowly but surely. regards noraT.
