hi
i have found a pic in my grandfathers photos that has a family in it. what looks like the 2 sons are wearing nz uniforms. i have no idea who they are but they must be family as all his pics where family ones.
is there anywhere i can look through indexes for names on shipping lists or bmd's around the 1900-1920 time

There are half a dozen Minchers on the Auckland War Museum's database of New Zealanders who served in 19th-20th century wars. It is not complete, and it includes many who survived the wars.

They are not online - if that's what you mean....
They are available at Libraries and Mormon Family History Centres on microfiche.
