Still having problems with this William Andrews who may have been born around 1844, his birth location indicates Llangadog, but just can't find that Llandovery location, as he was born illegitimate could he have had a different surname on registration Huh Huh Huh Huh

Hi All, As his father Thomas Davies was a clergyman at the time of his birth, I can't help thinking he must have evaded registration Huh

Hi All, I am trying to trace any details about Thomas Davies (1802-1861) Owing to the my distance I wonder if any kind person could trace anything about the Vicar in the Carmarthen archives. Would any account records for the Vicarage in Llangadock be held anywhere and still available. His Will would be March 1861. Any help in this ongoing mystery would be gratefully received. Hi All, He married on the 6th December 1878 as a Davies, father unknown. He married a Margaret Davies(same surname). Her father was a Thomas Davies a farmer. At the time her residence is  hafod, Llansadwr and seems to have been born in the area. The story continues! Huh

Interestingly his marriage on the 6th December 1878 to Margaret Davies of Hafod, Llandilofawr, shows him as William Davies, Father Unknown Lips Sealed

I wonder if anyone could trace an Andrews family living in Cwmsaeson a village near Llangadog around 1841-1851?
