Hello to the list,
I am looking for this Family,I found them on the 1851 Census,I was wondering if any one can look up the  the 1861 Census for me,to see if they are still in Melrose, this is what I have.

1851 Census  High Street,Melrose

WILLIAM BROWN     38   Drayman   Roxburghshire Jedburgh
AGNES BROWN        36     wife               Roxburghshire Melrose
GEORGE  BROWN          13      son           Roxburghshire Melrose
JOHN BROWN           8        Son              Roxburghshire  Melrose
JANET BROWN          7      Daughter       Roxburghshire  Melrose
AGNES BROWN        3      Daughter       Roxburghshire  Melrose
WILLIAM BROWN    1         Son             Roxburghshire  Melrose

Could any one tell me what is a Drayman ?,William Brown and Agnes Brown(that is her maiden name) were married 09 June 1837 Melrose.
I will say thank you now for any help.
Thank you

A Drayman was someone who drove a large horse drawn cart. The term is one I associate with carrying large beer barrels.
