Cost of BMD certificates

Having looked on the web to find the address of Bishop's Stortford Registry Office in order to order a copy of a 1921 marriage certificate  I find that I have to pay £25.00 to bmd-certificates.co.uk to obtain it. Is this now the standard price for all copies of certificates? I realise it is sometime since I last bought one, but the price seems to have trebled. No doubt someone can put me right.

If you have the GRO reference* the price is £7 from the GRO http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/

Thanks for the prompt answer. I have got the reference from FreeBMD. Will that be the GRO reference?

By the way I see the charge at the GRO site is now £10, and £7 for additional copies.
