1901C Derby look up

Hi,
(I thought that I posted this earlier).

Can SKS look up George Arthur Stenson on the 1901C; b.15th Nov 1888 in Derby. I don't have any details for parents and/or siblings.

I can see him on the from page of one of the census providers but I can't get access to the index.

I think that Sawley comes under Shardlow, rather than Derby. There is a George Arthur born 1887 in Shardlow and I believe that the references which you have found belong to this George A.

I'm after the one born 1888 in Derby.

I can see a George Arthur Stenson born 1894 for Shardlow, but I carnt see a George Stenson born 1888  on free BMD or Ancestry

On my screen, I can see George Arthur, b.1888 Derby on the front page of Ancestry on the 1901C but I can't access it from work. I'll try when I get home. Should work.

Hi Ricky,
Apologises for the delay in getting back to you. Late in the office on Friday and away for the weekend. I finally got to look at the Ancestry records, and believe that you are correct. The only George Arthur that I can find is the one which you came across.
The difficulty is that there is a George Arthur born in Shardlow in 1887 and another born in Derby in 1888. It's the second one which I'm interested in but am having difficulty finding. Clearly, he's been transcribed incorrectly and I need to think of others way (name variations etc) which might lead me to finding him.
