Robert Bryant married Mary Carter in St Pauls Bedford in 1809. Parents of Robert bapt St Pauls 1812 and Eliza b 1814, bapt 1815 St Pauls. In 1818 he married Mary Ann Pamment (not born in Middlesex) in St Lukes Old Street Islington. Could anyone find his marriage to Mary Carter, baptisms of his children in Bedford and a burial for Mary in Bedford post 1814 when Eliza was born? The family also used St Mary Bedford. Names of witnesses, addresses occupation would be gratefully received. In London he was a carpenter. Jacqueline

Welcome to Rootschat
Presumably you have taken the details from the IGI. The only burial in Beds of a Mary Bryant was in Feb 1812 which is too early. Could they have moved to London and she died there?
The marriage details you are seeking are not available on the transcript, so would mean checking against the microfilm. You wouldn't usually get an address at this period

Thank you, David. I shall check St Lukes burials next time I go to London. I'm hoping someone will do the mf lookups for me in Bedford. I know what you usually get in them at different dates; it's the luck of the draw before 1813 for baptisms and funerals and 1837/8 for marriages. Bedford's a long long way for me; I'm in the Mediterranean otherwise Manchester! Jacqueline

Thank you, RichardK for look ups. David, I checked St Lukes burials; no joy. Oh well. It was all worth a try. Perhaps he left her! Jacqueline
