Let us know how you get on, Julie. I'm sure you'll find Isabella eventually and I'm sure we'd all like to know where she did come from!!

You're absolutely right Jill! I'd love to know where Isabella did come from - do let us know when (not if!) you find out Julie.
By the way Jill, I have finally figured out how to do a search using first names only on the IGI. I was having my own 'DOH' moment by trying to do it on the general search page at the front of the familysearch website, rather than using the exclusive IGI search. So I've learned something new. Had a go with 'Isabella' - nothing of particular interest I'm afraid.
Thanks very much for your interest and support. I certainly will post or email you once i'm in the know!
Jill Especial thanks: for the London posting suggestion; the possible two baptisms of an Isabella Wright - one in 1798 the later one in 1810. I will see what gives. Both were as you said 30miles from Reading.
KN You sure tried! I was pleased to get the baptismal church name for Henry's and Isabella's children.
Dillybert Thanks for Jane Mary Bell's and Henry Kemp's wedding year of 1858.
In ending,
i have to say that i do suspect at this time that Isabella Martha Wright did die in the 1850's. I couldn't find her on any census beyond 1851. The death cert that i'm expecting very soon will no doubt reveal that the person was a baby girl and not a woman aged 70 or 80!
I hope i can find evidence regarding Henry's second marriage which may indicate he was a widower, and married his second wife, Jane Mary in the late 50's. This would fit with Henry's and Isabella Martha's daughter, also called Isabella, living with them as an unmarried woman in her early to mid thirties. I found an Ancestry.co.uk 1871 census entry for the three of them - living in Bethnal Green. Isabella junior did eventually marry, a plasterer, George Barrett (bc1849) from Bethnal Green; Isabella jnr was born in 1838 (i have her cert). Isabella and George Barrett's first child was a girl, also called Isabella, born in 1876. She had 3 more children. She attended my great grandfather's death in 1893 (as per his death cert) and appeared on the 1901 census with her family in Bethnal Green! i now have to ascertain her death year.
Again, Many thanks and much gratitude for bearing with me, Julie
