Hi All,
I have in my family line Ellen BECKETT who married John PAY at Ellesmere, Shropshire in 1864. They had a son, Edwin Richard PAY born in 1872 in Ellesmere.
1881 - RG11 2664/12 Page 16, Watergate St, Ellesmere
Ellen died in 1886 (Freebmd Mar 1886 Ellesmere 6a 59)
1891 John PAY - RG12 2121/22 Page 3, Beaconsfield House, Victoria St, Ellesmere
1891 Edwin PAY - RG12 2888/15 Page 24, Frodsham St, Tranmere
John and Edwin PAY disappear after the 1891 census - I can't see any death references for them. Can anyone spot them in 1901 or come up with any other ideas to save my sanity?

Ooh thanks wozzle - now why didn't I see that!
Not surprised I didn't find Edwin!
For John the birthplace is Overton, Flint in 1891 - just over the border in Wales.
Thank you so much for this, they were driving me mad!!

Hi Wozzle,
Yes, I'm onto it now - there were family links with Liverpool and the stepdaughter in 1901 is Hughes - also Crichton's middle name was Hughes (registered 1898). I'm just wondering if Ann Barber is connected as Ellen's cousins were Barbers but I'm probably getting carried away now.
I'm writing up the history for the Beckett line, and I keep finding all these gaps.....!
