Hello,

Two siblings missing from the family census. Thomas Jay bn c 1830 in Mitcham, Surrey would like to be found in '61 and '71 if possible and brother Edward missing in '51 and '61 bn c1833 Mitcham. If found it means i can finally write up this family's history.

Hello Sandra

I think Edward in 1851 and 1861 was working in London for an Upholsterer, possible not the same one, or maybe different branches.

1851:  HO107  P. 1528  Fol. 264  Pg. 26
Edward Jay age 18 Porter B. Tooting, Surrey
He is living with a lot of others also employed in upholstery / shopkeeping /drapery

1861 : RG9.  P. 349  Fol. 30  Pg. 5
Edward Jay age 27 Commercial Clark B. Tooting, Surrey
69 - 75 Waterloo Road, Lambeth - given as occupied by I think it says Askinon & Co.
