Happy New Year Everyone.

I don't know if I am on the right board but here goes!  I wonder if someone could help with the birthplaces of Kenneth William Moll and Alan Geoffrey Moll.  Their parents married in York in 1921.  I have tried freebmd but they aren't there.  If someone out there subscribes to findmypast, would they be kind enough to see if they can find them for me.  Their father worked on the Railways so it's not definite that they would be born in York.

Any help on this one would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much for that information.  I guess I should have checked yorkshirebmd first Roll Eyes

I've had a quick look for myself but can't see the mother's maiden name - am I missing something?

As Alan isn't on yorkshirebmd it looks like they left York before he was born so hopefully someone can find him for me so I can track the family (I have the parents in Hindon in 1970!).

The mother's maiden name isn't on YorkshireBMD unfortunately - I found it on the complete GRO index  Smiley

Any idea when Alan was born? I couldn't see his birth between 1923 and 1925.

Thanks for coming back to me.  Unfortunately, I have no idea when Alan Geoffrey Moll was born.  I was hoping that one son would be born not long after the wedding (which he was) and the next son a couple or three years after that!

If looking for Alan's birth is like 'looking for a needle in a haystack' then I apologise and will let the matter rest.
