Thomas Bowen, Rock, 1891

I'm looking for Thomas Bowen, who should be about 23 in 1891, and will probably be married to Alice, with a son Alfred aged about 3.

I'm expecting them to be in the village of Rock, which, although it's in Worcestershire, seems to have strayed over into the district of Cleobury Mortimer for the 1891 census (only). Unfortunately the Ancestry 1891 census doesn't include this village under either county, they've just missed it out altogether, so I'm looking for someone perhaps with a Shropshire 1891 census on CD to look them up for me please.

I dont know if this is of help or not as i am not sure on the area.
I took a look on Ancestry and saw this family

Thomas Bowen 28 b Cradley Worcester
Clara     Bowen 24 b  "     "      "     "
Alfred    Bowen   2 b    "    "    "       "
Gertrude Bowen  1 b    "     "      "

This is the 1891 and they are in Hales Owen Stourbridge Worcester.
I cannot read Thomas's Occupation but i think it says Iron Chain Maker.

Dont know if this helps or not.

Sorry, wrong Thomas Bowen I'm afraid. Mine was born in Witley in Worcestershire and should be engaged in something altogether more agricultural, since he's a waggoner on a farm ten years later.

            Is it only 1891 census you want only your family is on 1901 at Rock.

Yes it is, I know they're there in 1901 and Alfred, who's 13 by then, is b. Rock, as are all the subsequent children, so it's odds on that they were in Rock in 1891. Which makes it all the more frustrating that the 1891 census for Rock is missing!
