Hi

Can anyone help please, Is there anyway that I can tell who the marriage partner is without getting the marriage certificate, The marriage in question

Isebel Ellen Hodges married either Henry Thomas Fuller of John Leonard Latter in 1922 Epsom Surrey
Marriage Vol 2a page 47

The surname of the spouse should be listed in the GRO index.

Probably a silly question but..... have you checked if both Henry and John have the same marriage ref Vol 2a page 47 as Winifred  Huh

I think you've got a bit confused with this one Mike  Smiley

The marriage reference with those two male names is for the December quarter of 1905 ....and the females are
Isabel Ellen Hodges and Helena Kate Warriner.

The short answer is it's difficult to tell which man married a Hodges female, but if either couple had children from the last quarter of 1911, the mother's maiden name will be listed.

And we have on FreeBMD a John W Fuller reg Dec 1911 Epsom and Winifred G Fuller Dec 1920 Epsom

Both have mother's maiden name Hodges

So it's likely (though not 100% proven) she married Mr Fuller
