We have the following family we would like to find details on particulary with regard to the male childrens work.
The person I am researching for says this --------- they seem to have done well as I can remember when I used to stay with my grandma and grandad coombs was already dead I used to go with her to collect rent from a row of terraced houses down the road as they owned them ----- I believe they moved to Reading Area to start their own business and open the brickyard possibly in Billingbear Reading Can anyone help with info or advice as we are not near a records office - are there online directories?
My friends Grandfather was in Wokingham district by 1932 and had died by 1969 and she herself was born in 1964 so thats as near as I can get with time period.

Did Wilfred have the middle name of Howard?
That's the only birth I can find?
(if we have the middle names it helps with the search)

Hi Suz - Im afraid I don't know - sadly there is no one around to ask so we are doing things the hard way and trying not to break the bank in the process
However it seems likely that is the only one I could see too
