Following a very useful lead from a forum member I was able to find my 3xgt grandmother's obituary on a website.
On it, it mentions she was a member of the Wesleyan Connextion for 32 years. I have been unable to find her burial in Wrexham's St Giles church and was wondering if there was a Wesleyan Church nearby where she may be buried.
She died in 1852 and lived in Wrexham.
Would be grateful for any information. Erika

The Genuki Wales site lists three Weslyan churches under Wrexham:
Brynffynnon (English language)
Hampden Road
Jerusalem, Egerton street.
I do not know whether or not they have graveyards i'm afraid, but i will keep looking.

There is a dissenters graveyard on Rhosddu Rd, Wrexham used till about 1888, and the Ruthin Road cemetery near the Belle View Park, this one was used before the Ruabon Road Cem was opened. in 1876. The only records I`ve found are MI`s for both , which could be worth checking. I have found some of mine. Do you have a name for this lady. Also I`m curious about the website you mentioned.

Hi wilcoxon
Thank you for your reply. I'd be grateful for some checks. The ladies name was Frances Owen and she died July 1852 age 65 Her husband was William Owen and I have been unable to find his death so far.
Web address for the Wrexham Advertiser is below and very interesting

Hi
Yes I already have the census, but I'm having a real problem finding William's death and I can't find him on the 1861 census. The William Owen that died in the Wrexham area between the census was a baby! I was hoping if I could find Frances's burial place, William may be there too.

Hi Wilcoxon
Thanks again for your interest. I know in one of the census they are down as Owens, but in all previous and later records it is Owen. I would have thought the death would be Owen as his wife Frances was registered as Owen on her death cert and he was the informant.
If I could find her burial I'm sure that would help. Do you think I should get in touch with the local record office for Wrexham? Where would that be?
Thanks Erika

Hi Mike
Thanks for your reply.
Yes she was my Frances Owen. There are also a few birth announcements for her son's children and I was delighted to find them.
This also makes me think there woild be a gravestone somewhere for Frances, with hopefully William with her.
Very difficult to research properly living on the south coast!
Cheers Erika

Hi Wilcoxon
Thanks. I did see those in the Wrexham Advertiser. The death of Mr Owen son of Mr Owen is a mystery to me. I have checked the deaths but can't find another Owen in that qtr for Wrexham.
I only have William and Frances having 2 sons but on the 1841 census I have William at Yorke St with Francis age 15!!!!( Who is that??)
His wife Frances meanwhile on the 1841 census is living in Duddleston Shropshire ( where they all came from originally ) with Richard and Charles their 2 sons.
Sorry to confuse you with all this, but it is complicated and all I really want to find out is when poor William died and where Frances is buried
Thanks for your continued interest Erika

Hi Thanks for those chapels.
I had a quick look on a previous post by sem on this board which was about a website for M Is.
There were a couple of William Owen but no Frances.
I also noticed at Coedpoeth Cemetery a few Wilcoxon, anything to do with you??
Cheers Erika
