Free Webspace Server Down

We've had to take down the free webspace server for now while we do some essential work, and we plan to bring it back up again over the next few days.

Sorry for the frustration that this may cause.

I can't seem to access my web pages:

This one for example.

Nor can I use the system to upload/amend web pages.

Is it me ?

Hi everyone,

I can't access my rootschat webspace today - is there a problem? I also wanted to update my website but cannot access it. I get a message saying that the rootschat server cannot be found.

Anyone else having problems?

Help please?

I have a rootschat website at http://pilkingtonfamily.rootschat.net/index.html which I have had since Jun  2006. 
In the last couple of weeks it has 'disappeared' and Internet Explorer can't find it  Embarrassed

What's happened please?   Cry

Hello Everyone,

I'm experiencing the same problem, can't download or access my webspace with my usual FTP program.

I get the message "server cannot be found" or "access denied".

Thank you Gadget, a couple of days have past and I'm still having no joy. Can't download my website, get the message server cannot be found. Neither can I access it through my FTP program. Hope this is resolved soon.

Yes - it has been down for four days, and I've been away on business (with my day job) for two days, so I'm sorry about that.

I posted my data to a free website hosted by rootschat.com but it can't be accessed.

Neither can the link from the "free web space" button.

What's happening?

How do I contact the providers (by email)?
