If you have time Moira would you be so kind as to see if there's a birth for
Samuel Ingleby 1830 Duffield...... well he says Duffield on the 1851 census...under the name of Hingley.
I'm having a real problem with this family as there's nothing on IGI.
The family name seems to change with every census , it goes from Ingoldby, Hingley, Hinsley, Hingleby and Ingleby. .... and I can't find him on some census, so he's probably going by another name completely.

There are a few christenings on the IGI for Ingleby (and other spellings) in Duffield - the registers for this parish are on the IGI 1745-1875. The nearest one I can find that might be mistranscribed  is for Samuel LINDLEY at Duffield 11 Oct 1829, son on Francis & Ann ~ does he have any offspring with similar names?
Or perhaps someone could look at the entry at the records office/library for you to check the entry for you?

Sorry Jan and thankyou for looking.........I keep forgetting to say ..when my request has been completed.
It was Samuel Hingley in 1837 on IGI.......he was born 1830 ..... but him and all his siblings were christened together in 1837.......christenings in bulk, just to confuse me.....and I believe it saved money.
