Thanks for that, so I cannot bring any respectability into the family.
It would therefore appear that my gr grandmother Isabella was the illigitimate daughter of Mary Ann Allison and she was the illigitimate daughter of Hannah Allison. That would explain why there is no father for Isabella on her marriage cert.  Gosh!! I think my grandmother would turn in her grave if she'd have known that. Thanks for persistance.
