My ancestor moved to Ashford to join in the big boom of railway coachbuilding at the Ashford works in 1851. It had been built a few years earlier.
I am interested in any employee lists that may exist (for my ancestor Jeremiah Grace) and any industrial accident report that may account for him being paralysed by the 1871 census.
Thanks, Mark

The Railway Room at Ashford Library is full of railway stuff - I don't know if they have a precise list of what is available or whether you would need to visit.
Thanks for the info. Appreciated. Unfortunately a visit is not possible as I don't live in the UK and have no current plans to visit. I will note the existence of the records for future information. Thanks again & regards, Mark
