I want to know who William Morgans wife was as he seems to be on his own with Leonard Charles when Leonard was 9.

I have listed a good possible entry for William MORGAN in the 1851 census above and this would tie in with information that you appear to have already according to another of your posts where you mention .........

Does anyone know anything about a William Morgan born 1822 Bermondsey St Mary Magdelene married to an Elizabeth 1824 born in Plymouth Devon.

I also want to know who Williams parents were

Also, there is a good possibility that William's parents are those that I have listed 1841-1861 above.

Do let us know what's on that certificate when it arrives .................. hopefully it will confirm some things.

2 Ann's Terrace, Rotherhithe, Surrey

That's a coincidence - my grandfather was born at no. 3!  I think his birth certificate says Poplar, but I'm pretty sure it would be the same street.

Hi Carole  I sent for the one you suggested as you said that seemed to be the only Leonard.  It will be a pity if his name is Leonard George, as he has a bit of a reputation as according to my dad who was his grandson he won a horse and cart in a game of cards.  I will let you know the results as soon as I hear.  According to Southport it should arrive on the 22nd although they are usually pretty quick
