I am researching the Damms Family from the Grantham area, maybe the Fishtoft/Boston area and would like any information on this surname.

Hi and welcome to rootschat.
Can you give a bit more information?  Names and dates would help - provided you do not mention any who may be living.  Have you looked at www.familysearch.org?  That has the 1881 census and some baptisms and marriages for that area.

The second wife of one of my ancestors was Sarah DAMMS 1812 Kirton in Holland, dau of William DAMMS (c1771-1844) and Ann WOULD (c1774-1847) - I'm afraid I have nothing else on this couple apart from their marriage (26 Nov 1804 at Fosdyke).

I assume you know she is not still living.  The post will be deleted if it has a reference to living people.   I would suggest that you look on FreeBMD for her birth.  It is not full coverage but improving all the time.  They have images of the original index available up to 1935.  It is time consuming to search them but you should be able to find her birth registration fairly quickly if you are sure it is 1920.  I did have a quick look and could not see her.  Are you sure of the year?
