My Li'l Fisherman

I am looking for Zacharia born c1848 in 1861.
How anyone with a name like that can hide I'll never know.   .
The only sighting of him is in 1851 with his family in Wellington HO107/1997/174 pages 57 & 58 as Zacharia Sockitt
I can't find his birth or death on Freebmd only an extracted christening on IGI 13/01/1850 (Zechariah)
In fact I can't find any of the family except one after '51
The rest of the family are
Henry 1812
Mary c1818
Elizabeth 1838
Elias 1839
Joseph who reappears in '71
Martha 1845

A lot of Sockets get transcribed as Lockets - like this family:
RG9/1897/35/10.
New Street, Wellington, Shropshire.
Henry Socket, Lodger, M, 48, Labourer in Iron Works, b. Ketley.
Mary Socket, Lodger, M, 39, Lodger's wife, b. Wellington.
Martha E Socket, Lodger, S, 16, Dressmaker, b. Wellington.
The ages aren't quite right but they could be yours.

Bad news I'm afraid... wrong Eli. The one you found is his cousin  born same year, same town.
This whole family is difficult because they seem to latch on to a couple of names and every child has to have it. Can't say the same for Zachariah though

Think of the trouble I had seperating five cousins called William born 1864/5
I think that I will have to get the marriage certs. of these Elias' so that I can be sure I've got them with the right wives. I am beginning to doubt my own research.
