I am trying to trace my Great Grandfather, John Day, who was born about 1852/1853 in Cheshire Birkenhead, according to the 1901 census.

This is the man, thanks, you were able to tell me that there was a daughter Emily, born after my Grandfather (William Henry) who must have married, moved or died by the time of the 1901 census as she doesn't appear on it, the others listed still did. Any info you can get for me from the other census will be very much appreciated. Thanks for the welcome
