Good evening,
John HAVENS was possibly born in Longcot around 1700 and married an Elizabeth (Betty Something probably around 1727, again possibly in Longcot.
They appear to have had about 6 children between 1728 and 1744, all of them born in Longcot:
Elizabeth b. 1728; Mary b. 1730; John, b. 1732; Ann b. 1735; Sarah b. 1738 and Thomas b. 1744.
If someone has access to the PR's for Longcot I would be very pleased to get my hands on their date of marriage, and -who knows - even their baptisms, which should be around the 1700 - 1705 mark at a guess.

Compton Beauchamp is fairly close to this area, comes under the Faringdon registration district.
John Havens married Betty GOLDING 30 Nov 1727. Looks like she was from Longcot.
Possibly her baptism at Longcot
1705 Sep 10 Elizabeth d/o Abraham & Mary, Fernham

Ian, where did the John HAVENS/Betty GOLDING marriage take place please ? Was it in Longcot or Compton Beauchamp ?
I've found another Betty GOLDING, just to confuse matters, b. Compton Beauchamp 01.08.1700, parents Richard and Margaret. Would make her a bit long in the tooth to have a last child at 44 years old, but not impossible. Of the 2 Elizabeths in Longcot, I agree that the most likely is the one baptised 10th September 1705.

Abraham Married Mary Horne 23 Dec 1696 Shivenham
Chidren Mary 1697, Betty 1705, Abraham 1708, Thomas 1715
Richard Married Margret Beams 7 May 1699, Compon Beauchamp
Children Betty 1700 also from Compton
The best lead I think is Richards Parents look like to be William and Betty 1 April 1677 also from Compton

FURBELO els HEAVENS Elizabeth, widow, 83, d ---- GOLDING, died of old age.
There are a few other HEAVENS entries with the FURBELO alias around this time as well. Looks Italian to me. Might be why they cannot be found before John's marriage to Betty GOLDING. He may have been born FURBELO in some other country.
Just a thought.
