I Know,If I Get to the Core then Answers R There!

HiYall
I am searching for Sophia Charlotte Tivey in the 1871 census.
In 1861 she is born Greenwich Kent abt 1841 and is a fisherman's wife in Great Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Her husband is not with her. assumed at sea 9 - i found a mariner in Kent - lodger which fits her husband's description so I know he was alive then!
She remarried in 1872 to either William Revell or James Orford at Greenwich 1d 1219 There is no death registered for her husband William Francis Tivey between 1861 and 1872 when she remarried
I am guessing that she is in the Greenwich area because her daughter Sophia Ellen was b 1863 in the Greenwich district and the child also died there in 1867.
Can anyone help find her please ?
Cheers Jan

Hi
In 1861 She is in Grimaby as you say BUT the child Sophia is 10months old so born 1860 Then in Grimsby there is a death of a Sophia Charlotte TIVEY
This is not the same child as the 1863 oned who died in 1867
Unless Sophia Junior married at 12 I don't think it's here or her mothers marriage in 1873
Sorry to throw a spanner in the works .........Hope I 'm wrong

Hi Pike
Sorry - Tell me again I am completely confused now
William Tivey and Sophia Tivey had two children who both died in infancy - Sophia Charlotte born 1860 died 1861 Grimsby, then Sophia Ellen born 1863 died 1867 Greenwich. Sorry I didnt mention the one on the 1861 census as I knew she wouldnt be about in 1871 - sorry to cause confusion.
Cheers Jan

Ok that makes sence now I found this on below but doubt it fit now
In 1871 there is a Sophia born Greenwich 1860 living with her Aunt Harriet Bealsey isn't that sophia 1841 maiden name?
So could it be her mother died and she went to live with her great Aunt
Sorry to confuse
