Could anyone tell me if there is a church of St Edmund's in Bromeswell please. My 3xgrt grandfather, although born in Woodbridge, married  in Bromeswell in 1822.
Thankyou

Hi Vella

Yes indeed.  See Simon KNOTTS marvelous Suffolk Churches website.

Thankyou Rick - that's very interesting especially having read the item regarding the grave of two unrelated people. My 3xgrt grandfather married Elizabeth King and I recently discovered she had a sister Mary Anne! The ages fit too though I believe there were many "Kings" in the area then.

Vella

It might be worth contacting the volunteer offering lookups from the Bromeswell PRs at The Suffolk Surname List.
