Not sure if anyone can help, but if you don't ask....
I'm looking to fill in a few gaps in what I know about my gg grandparents Moses Daniels and Emma Cox. Mainly I would love to find their marriage and hopefully find out more about Emma (I have Moses's family going back another 3 generations before him)
So here is what I know
1830/1 born Moses Toledano in Hull (according to one census) But Middlesex is where it is believed he was really born. Born to Jewish parents, Joshua Toledano and Sarah. The name was changed to Daniels at some point.
1841 - Supposedly on the census aged 10 with his parents and younger siblings in Mill St Kingston upon Hull but I have been unable to find this at the site where I pay to view census. I have what is reportedly a copy of the entry, but it is drastically cropped so only the names and ages are seen (the surname was Daniels but the whole thing is very poor quality )
1851 on the census Moses Daniels a lodger aged 21 (a confectioner) born London was with Rachel Daniels (3 month, born Derby) and Mary A. Daniels aged 22 (married) born Leeds, Yorkshire. All were at 3 Daws Place West Street, Kingston Upon Hull, Yorkshire Er
1871 another supposed census entry (that I have not been able to find) has Moses Daniels aged 40, head, St George in the East, Middlesex, publican employing 4 persons, all at The Middleton Alms (no family with him though)
Sep 1875 He was living at 5 King St, Leyton, Essex, England with wife Emma Cox. His occupation was listed as commercial travellerThis I have from the birth certificate of his son Abraham (my g grandfather)
1881 I have him and Emma and 6 children at Little Sqr Braintree, Essex, England. Moses is listed as Moss, 50 years old and a publican from Hull, Emma is 29 from Bethnal Green. The eldest child is Abigail aged 9 and the youngest is Rebecca aged 9 months
1897 Moses was listed as an instrument maker (deceased) on his son's {Abraham} wedding certificate.
I have no knowledge of Emma or the other children after 1881
I have searched on census's for them all but to no avail.
Moses and his brother Abraham travelled as clowns for a time using the names Mac and Alec Daniels.
So if anyone would know of some resource that I could try, I would be mighty greatfull.

just wondering whether you'd seen Moses Toledano age 80 in the 1841 census ,he's in the Spanish and Portugese hospital,Stepney..invalid....is he a relation?

That Moses is his grandfather, Abigail (his grandmother ) is also there as is Welcome Martin who we think is his grandmother's sister.

FreeBMD has about 13 Toledano deaths -didnt see Joshua though, but they would be worth a look as I guess most will fit in somewhere!

Oh my lord.. I finally found the piece of census with him on. Thanks for the transcript tazzie, using that I did a search for Jane Holdship instead and it found her.... but the hillarious thing is, whoever transcribed it (and I looked at the original and I can't for the life of me see how they did it) read Moses Daniels as Morris Ducks 
It's no wonder I didn't find him, I tried a lot of different names and spellings of Daniels and Toledano, but I never thought to try that one lol
