Hello Den:
Your William Negus is the younger brother to my Henry Negus.
I am currently going through the Bishop's transcripts for Polebrook and its all there. William was baptised 24/1/1801 son of John Negus and Ann Knibb who were married on the 24/2/1793 at Polebrook. They had 10 children from 1794 to 1807.
Hope this helps. Regards Eldon.
