George & Jane Collins. The 1891 census shows them living at Stevenage Lodge Cttgs, Chell Grn, Stevenage. His age 1891 was 45 yrs b Aston, her age 60 yrs, b Bennington. His occ: Agricultural Labourer.

There ia a death of    Jane Collins age 65 in 1897 Edmonton Herts
and death of             George Henry Collins age 52 in 1898

if these are them they wouldnt be on 1901 census, there two sons are on 1901 John married, and William as a boarder.

Found a George Collins on 1901 but not sure if he is yours, there is born Aston Herts match so heres hoping

1901

Living at Beldham Cottage Friern Barnet, Middlesex.

George   Collins   Head  "S" for single but could be he was widowed  aged 51 Occup Navvy/Railway Lab'r  Born Aston Herts

Susan Collins    Sister        Aged 42             Born Bennington
Reginald Collins Nephew      "     14  Dom/Page Boy Born Bennington.

Fingers crossed theres a connection.
